The concept of the PLATO Café involves stones embedded in furniture and works with their symbolism. The idea grabbed the attention of local mineralogists. However, when sorted out, precious minerals from different sites are not always included in collections. Crystal, amethyst, calcite, garnet, chalcedony, azurite, malachite or gypsum are valuable collection items but don’t make the category of exhibits. Each of them tells a story. The collectors want to share their good fortune and please those who can appreciate the beauty of minerals. Our visitors come first.
