Due to the latest government measures with a view to the development of the COVID-19 pandemic, the exhibition will be opened in an alternative date. At this point, we do not dare to set a new date for the opening, we will do so as soon as the situation allows.

During the opening day, a performance by Jakub Choma will take place as part of the art project “Gears of Life”.
From 7 pm there will be a public reading within the art project of Alma Lily Rayner “Survival Manual” in collaboration with Andrea Tobolová, Katarina Slezáková, Mirka Slívová, Jakub Černý, Magdalena Šipka, Elena Gorolová, Martin Novák, Zuzana Fialová, Alex Sihelská, Radek Šabacký, Ladislav Fabian, Tess, Anastasia Klemensová and Alex Vonsík.
In the performance each participant offers a piece of themselves. Each came to read a text meaningful for their existence. Some wrote their own words and some borrowed from the words of others. All are here to transform silence into collective action.
The reading will take place in the stage with a limited capacity of 30 seated visitors.
Jindřich Chalupecký Award, named in honor of the leading Czech theorist and critic of visual arts and literature, essayist and philosopher, was founded in 1990 by Václav Havel, Jiří Kolář and Theodor Pištěk. It is awarded to visual artists up to the age of 35 who live or work in the Czech Republic.
