The Moravian-Silesian Region, together with the Karlovy Vary Region and the Ústí nad Labem Region, has been preparing for huge investments worth tens of billions from the European Union for several years. These are intended to fundamentally transform our region and free it from dependence on mining and heavy industry. The money is intended for local people and tradespeople and is intended to eliminate the inequalities associated with the transition to sustainable and clean technologies.

The Operational Programme Just Transition was created to help ease the negative impacts of the mining downturn and help smooth the transition of structurally affected regions to an economically self-sufficient and healthier future. How this is being achieved, we will ask the personalities invited to the panel discussion who could help us answer this question.
