In Ideology and the Virtual City, Jon Bailes shows how computer games capture our coming to terms with the onset of capitalist modernity. Subtitled Video Games, Power Imaginations and Neoliberalism, the book analyzes four mainstream games and their way of processing everyday functioning in neoliberal capitalism.
