Meeting of all branches of Memory of Nations, this time in Ostrava.

The Memory of Nations project focuses on collecting, preserving, and making accessible the personal memories of people who lived through important historical periods of the 20th century, especially the periods of totalitarian regimes – Nazism and communism – in Czechoslovakia.

The official branch of Memory of Nations in the Moravian-Silesian Region was established in 2021, although the recording of eyewitness accounts has been taking place here since 2018.
