Graphic artist Maria Kekeláková Řemenová will show us how personal experiences with nature can be captured in ways other than words. For children ages 5 and up.

This is a simplified and playful version of classic lithography, which traditionally uses stone printing and the principle of oil and water repulsion. In our version, we will use commonly available materials and Coca-Cola. The workshop is therefore also an experiment in which we will explore the possibilities of unconventional printing. We will compile the resulting images into a visual diary in the form of a collaborative fold-out book.

Maria Kekeláková Řemenová is a graduate of the Printmaking Studio at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ostrava. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions and projects, as well as study visits to Wrocław, Gdańsk, and Iceland. She focuses primarily on printmaking and its interdisciplinary applications. She is interested in biology, cultivation, and the synergy between humans and nature.
