Open Gardens Weekend 2026 in PLATO
We are joining the 16th annual nationwide event and invite you to three events in the gallery garden and the exhibition Soil and Friends.
Open Gardens Weekend is an international event (usually held on the second weekend in June) during which private, community, and historic gardens and parks that are normally closed to the public are opened to visitors. The aim is to raise awareness of garden art and architecture. The event originated in London in 1998 and has since spread throughout Europe.

- –ReservationCommunity workshop:Garden furniture workshop with MAK! ArchitectsWhat better way to furnish the gallery garden than by making the furniture together? With the help of MAK!, anyone can do it – and there will be a feast, too.
- –ReservationGuided tour:PLATO gardenHow is the gallery garden connected to the PLATO program? Come learn how the garden fits into the gallery’s operations – Michaela Ondroušková will give you a tour.
