How does oligarchy profit from crises at the expense of everyone else?

The Czech Republic, along with the rest of the world, is facing a multiple crisis whose primary symptoms are a rising cost of living, an unstable global security situation, and climate change. In recent years, however, the wealthiest oligarchs have profited from every crisis, continuously increasing their gains unlike everyone else.

Using the businesses of Daniel Křetínský and Pavel Tykač as examples, we show how the oligarchy profits from crises at the expense of everyone else. We also outline possible steps that can be taken to address it.
