Workshop for families with children:
A playful art workshop for children (aged 5–12) and their parents with artist Martina Strakošová, where we'll make our own Christmas ornaments. We will be cutting, gluing, drawing, adding glitter, and letting our imaginations run wild.
No right or wrong. No “but this doesn't belong on a Christmas tree.” Because on a Christmas tree, you might find a smiling pickled cucumber, a unicorn, or a glittery heart. And the best part is, you'll get to take your creations home to hang on your own tree or branches.
Martina Strakošová (b. 1996) is a multimedia artist and educator. She graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music at the University of Ostrava, specializing in Video, Multimedia, and Performance. Her work spans various media, primarily painting, embroidery, video, sound, objects, and installations. She is also the creator of the music project CHMURKA. In her artistic practice, she processes personal feelings and experiences while leaving room for the viewer's own interpretation. She enjoys operating on the border between art and kitsch, working with a touch of hyperbole and poetics.
