Come join one of the special guided tours we’re offering from July 17 to 19, held (not only) in connection with the Colours of Ostrava festival. You’ll learn about the history of the gallery building as well as our current exhibitions. One of the tours will be conducted in Polish.

The story of the transformation of a historic slaughterhouse from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries (a national cultural monument) into an architecturally acclaimed contemporary art gallery. Guided by architectural historian and heritage conservationist Martin Strakoš.
Fri July 18 at 11 a.m.
An introduction to the main exhibition season with educator Alice Sovadinová, featuring the international exhibition Kino Kosmos, a solo show by Polish artist Dorota Jurczak, and the interactive project Klíčky.
