To partially replace the role of the Bauhaus and offer the communities and organisations that used the former Hobby Market a new gallery location for their activities. These are the main goals of the exhibition of the Ostrava city gallery PLATO entitled Postbauhaus: Memories of the Future. The largest hall of the reconstructed historic slaughterhouse will host young Czech and Polish artists, while the space will also be transformed into a practical venue for public events. Postbauhaus will open on 25 October 2024 at 6pm and will run for 7 months.
