During dozens of exhibition days in 2025 at PLATO, a hidden world was created that visitors sense but cannot see. We collected memories from witnesses of the original city slaughterhouse, mapped the hidden layers of toxicity in the city, supported artistic research, and tended to an extensive public garden. Thanks to this work, the Ostrava City Gallery of Contemporary Art is becoming a place that works with Ostrava's memory in an original way, responds sensitively to changes in its surroundings, and strengthens the city's international profile.
