Lecture:
Lecture by an American politologist, anthropologist and philosopher living in the Czech Republic.
Until recently, it was believed that the term “people” had more or less disappeared from the political discourse. Democracy in the post-communist and neoliberal era was to be transformed so that “people” would not be part of the scene. In recent years, however, the situation is obviously changing, and theorists note “the return of people” to politics.
