Short films and video by artist Adéla Babanová: Neptune (2018, CR/D), Where Did the Stewardess Fall From? (2014, CR) and Return to Adriaport (2013, CR).

The artist deals with the themes of memory, personal mythology and possibilities of manipulation and interpretation of historical events.

Adéla Babanová (b. 1980, Prague) graduated from the new media studio of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Thus far, short films with mysterious plots are her trademark, their treatment coming closer to “classic” cinema than to video art. She was a finalist for the Czech National Gallery’s 333 Award and the Jindřich Chalupecký Award. Adéla Babanová is represented by Zahorian & Van Espen gallery.
