The monograph critically reflects current solutions to homelessness in the Czech Republic. It compares Housing ready and Housing first models. The book uncovers various types of social work practice in those models and brings new knowledge from the field of reintegration to housing. As a key concept it mentions reflexive practice which forms a basis of efficient social work, transforms current social services and breaks the cycle of homelessness. The monograph also discusses challenges which should be to be taken into account if Housing first model has its ambition of ending homelessness of individuals and families.
