Engaged builders’ drama from industrial Ostrava directed by Jan Kačer.

The story of an experienced engineer Rataj (Drahomír Ožana), who is put in charge of the nuclear programme in a metallurgical and engineering company. The demanding and exhausting work eventually costs the specialist his life, but the engineer's mission is continued by his son Ondřej (Jiří Čapka). This psychological film with an engaged theme has left no trace in domestic film history.
