We will light the original tree created by painter Hana Puchová together with children from Ostrava and those who recently immigrated from Ukraine. A symbolic dinner and Ukrainian Christmas traditions.

The programme is created in cooperation with the Dnipro Center for Contemporary Culture (UA), which we are hosting as part of the first residency in our new headquarters, the Secondary School of Art in Ostrava, and Přemysl Pitter Primary School and Kindergarten

Residency of Dnipro Center for Contemporary Culture as well as a cultural programme with Ukrainian artists was supported by the Goethe-Institut as part of a comprehensive package of measures for which the Federal Foreign Office provides funding from the 2022 Supplementary Budget to mitigate the effects of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine.
