Workshop:

TV Páteř in cooperation with children from Jirská osada

Location:
  1. PLATO, Porážková 26

For a closed circle of participants

The event is part of an all-day event Editorial Meeting III, programme for the exhibition Escaped, Found a Hideout, Still on the Run.

The audiovisual platform TV Spine, together with children from Ostrava, from the Jirská osada, prepared a reportage displayed at the exhibition Escaped, Found a Hideout, Still on the Run. During the editorial meeting, this reportage will be followed up with another activity.

TV Páteř is a platform for sharing audiovisual work that is not bound by the code of commerce. It is a space of creative-experimental enjoyment, working with themes that most people would rather overlook or not see. TV Páteř was founded in 2020 by a group of young people united by the joy of collective creation. In most cases they are against solo authorship and advocate for team play. Anyone who wants to create can be on the team, regardless of the colour of their skin or jersey. TV Páteř has a varied history of activities and productions – for example, the audiovisual festival Mikrofest, the exhibition Room Report in One Two Three Gallery, Prague, the film I’ve Always Wished I Was a Female Footballer, a fictional documentary about the Most Alien Body, or a video workshop for children from the Jirská settlement in Ostrava, whom they also invited to collaborate on a report: “Hey, kids, what animal do you know? A dog, a cat… what about a human?”
