The artist and curator offers a unique critical perspective on the paradoxical nature of contemporary cultural and social critique and its relationship to the market economy, and considers the possibilities and limits of identity politics.

Barbora Ilič (*1993) is an artist, curator and PhD student at the Brno University of Technology, whose work deals with the power of romanticization and the issue of reparative tendencies in art and in a broader social context. Her works often include references to B-cinema and pop culture in the form of low theory. She is currently working within the Brno-based curatorial collective Cejla and the art collective UglyBrno. He lives and works in Brno.
