Permaculture Course:
The basics of permaculture gardening for family and community gardens, and small-scale intensive farms. Private event.
What you will learn in the course:
How to design a garden layout to effectively utilize every space where food can be grown.
How to manage water on-site and where to position permanent structures such as sheds, greenhouses, etc.
How to maintain soil fertility and the health of your plants—including vegetables, trees, and shrubs.
How to plan seed sowing and planting throughout the season to ensure a year-round harvest.
How to protect plants against diseases and pests.
Denisa Tomášková is a permaculture educator, designer, and owner of a flower farm in the Polabí region. She studied permaculture under the world’s leading designers, most notably with the founder of permaculture, Bill Mollison, and his student Geoff Lawton. Currently, she also serves as the director of the Czech Permaculture Institute, which connects permaculture educators and designers. At the institute, she teaches permaculture design alongside various gardening and land management techniques.
She is the designer of the vegetation landscaping and permaculture features in PLATO’s Garden of Presence.
