"Bauhausian" Workshop:
The first of our special series of full-day crafts workshops for the public, launched in the year of the Bauhaus Art School’s 100th anniversary.
During the workshop you will go about the possibilities of working with wood, more specifically plywood, together with craftsmen – a woodcarver and a sculptor. Along with visual artists, you will then continue with designing and manufacturing your own applied object. You will use the traditional techniques of pyrography (burning with a soldering iron) and wood staining.
Master of the work (craftsman): Pavel Skorkovský
Masters of the form (artists): Jarmila Mitríková and Dávid Demjanovič
