Curatorial Presentation by Anna Gritz
Anna Gritz, member of the Jindřich Chalupecký Award 2026 jury, curator, and writer, has served since 2022 as the director of Haus am Waldsee, a contemporary art institution in Berlin celebrating its 80th anniversary this year. In her presentation, she will introduce curating as a practice that extends beyond exhibitions and has the potential to shape the operation of an entire institution. She will focus on how institutional management can creatively work with existing conditions and limitations, and how the building itself, its surroundings, and local histories can become integral to curatorial work.
The lecture will be held in English.

Talking About Art
How can we look at art and talk about it without fear that our interpretation is incorrect? This workshop offers a space to explore your own perception of the exhibited works, share personal experiences, and collectively discover potential meanings. Through individual and group activities, participants will try out different ways of engaging with, reflecting on, and discussing art.
Led by educators from the Jindřich Chalupecký Society and PLATO. Intended for adults.
