City event:
An open day and special programme with the subtitle Ritual of Transformation.
Programme:
5–9 pm
Workshop in front of the main entry:
The Altar of Offerings
The ongoing collaborative completion of the altar symbolizing the transformation of the past into the future and PLATO's move from its current location to the new one. You can decorate the altar with natural offerings that you make yourself from plants, flowers and seeds. At the end of the event, we will ritually burn the altar in the Shedding Ceremony.
5–9 pm
Workshop in the Garden (entry by side entrance from Janáčkova Street):
The Fire of Transformation
The making of a personal natural offering, which may include a written intention or wish for something that should undergo transformation. The message can be written on paper or wood and its fulfilment confirmed by throwing it into the fire. The act of burning can be done individually or at any full hour, during the Ritual of Transformation, together with the Great Shaman.
6 pm, 7 pm and 8 pm
Ritual in the Garden:
The Ritual of Transformation
The Great Shaman will perform a mystic ritual by the fire three times during the afternoon and evening and it will include the burning of small offerings created on the spot by visitors. Magic!
9 pm
Main ritual shared with visitors in the Garden:
Shedding of the Skin
The peak of the evening. During the main ritual, the Shedding of the Skin, we will burn together the altar with offerings and the Great Shaman will have a speech. You, i.e. the visitors, can further increase the efficacy of his powerful words by accompanying him with sounds. We will prepare bells, triangles, jingle bells, and shakers for you but you can also pull out your keys…
9.15 pm
Music and barbecue in the Garden:
