  • Oh and Hah, Beauty, Ruin and Slack
    An exhibition cycle in which the transformations of society are identified through the image and notion of a ruins. It will be realised in five parts – “theatre scenes”, and the Octopus Press publishing house.

    Our theme for 2020 is “intensities”: over three exhibitions and all kinds of programming, we explore various kinds of intensity that define the look and feel of the contemporary world.

  • re:bauhaus
    re:bauhaus – modern emancipation, education, exchange – is a transnational festival exploring the origins of Functionalism and Bauhaus in Central Europe, the political and societal conditions that gave rise to the movements, and how these are perceived today.

  • Temporary Structures
    Temporary Structures is PLATO’s year-long project when the city gallery’s backup facilities in the former Bauhaus are created by artists. Instead of traditional exhibitions, we present a library, a bistro, a shop, a cinema and a garden as works of art.
