Party! For the 10th anniversary of PLATO, we offer a program about your most frequently asked questions about contemporary art. From 23/3/2026.
How much would you pay for a banana taped to a wall? Why does it upset us so much when someone pays more than 10 for it? And should that even be allowed?
Behind the public’s judgment of controversial art often lies a sense of disillusionment with the unjust world that, paradoxically, art itself highlights. In this program, using methods of critical pedagogy, we will explore, among other things, the market paradox of the art world; we will familiarize ourselves with the principles of conceptual art; and, using sociodrama, we will defend our works before an examination committee.

- In the gallery:Airing (age 6–15)Enough sitting! Come, we'll give you a good airing. By encountering real works of art in the city, we encourage the development of sensory and visual sensitivity, as well as the formation of positive civic attitudes.
- In the gallery:Guided tour (age 11–15)A programme for those who want to be guided through the current exhibitions, the historic PLATO headquarters building and perhaps even the adjacent garden. In the tours for schools, we combine interpretation by the lecturer and dialogue between all participants.
- In the gallery:Magic Activism (age 6–15)About the mysterious process of ideas becoming works of art, and about today's witches. The meeting will lead to an active approach, discussion and open communication, encouraging creative and critical thinking.

The program develops media literacy, critical thinking, self-knowledge and contributes to mental well-being.
